The ADAMS Profile System Improves Brain Injury Treatment for Better Long-Term, Cognitive Rehabilitation Results!
The ADAMS Profile is a comprehensive system that helps Clinicians and Therapists manage the treatment of deficit and deficit awareness in clients with traumatic or acquired brain injuries.
This system establishes a Baseline Profile that visually illustrates the type and level of a client’s deficit and deficit awareness—covering nine cognitive domains and 36 of the most commonly reported, and behaviorally identifiable, cognitive deficits.
Once a client’s baseline is established, the ADAMS Profile system provides deficit-specific treatment recommendations and a Decision Support system suggesting potential options for developing and implementing more effective treatment strategies.
As cognitive rehabilitation strategies are implemented, the Cognitive Complaint Survey used to create the initial Baseline Profile, is then used again to track, evaluate and manage the long-term rehabilitation process.
